Khloé Kardashian is focused on providing the best life for her children, but she acknowledges that childhood trauma is an inevitable part of life.
During the January 22 episode of her podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, the 40-year-old mother of two discussed the challenges of growing up. She reflected on the possibility that her children, True (6) and Tatum (2), might experience trauma as they grow older, despite their current happy lives.
“We all have trauma, whether it’s big or small,” Kardashian said. “I always joke, I’m like, ‘My kids better not talk about childhood trauma because they have the best freaking lives.’ And they do! But it’s going to happen. It’s inevitable.”

In the debut episode of her podcast, Kardashian also spoke with Scott Disick about whether they want their children to follow in their footsteps and enter the spotlight. Disick, 41, who shares three kids with Kourtney Kardashian Barker, said he believes it should be up to his children. He shared his experience of how his own kids, including daughter Penelope (12) and sons Mason (15) and Reign (10), didn’t initially want to be involved in the show.
“They don’t seem very interested, but I remember Kylie [Jenner] and Kendall [Jenner] at their age not being interested at all,” Disick said. “They didn’t want to be on the show. They just wanted to go to school, and we could film.”
Later in the conversation, the two discussed the future when all 13 of the Kardashian-Jenner grandkids grow up together. Disick humorously predicted chaos as the kids enter their teenage years.
Khloé, concerned about how it will affect their lives, replied, “I am so terrified just for Storm, Chi, True, and Dream to be teenagers at the same time. I am terrified.”
Disick also joked about the group of kids causing a scene as they grow older, with Kardashian’s daughter North and his own son Mason already having a large social circle. He added, “It’s going to be insane… Imagine the guy on the microphone having to name-drop every person.”
“It’s going to be a problem,” Kardashian responded, clearly apprehensive about the future.
