Arielle Kebbel recently spoke with “Extra’s” Mona Kosar Abdi about her hit show Rescue: HI-Surf, which is part of FOX’s exciting lineup. The show is set to drop a new episode this Monday, right after the Super Bowl airs on FOX.
Mona asked Arielle if she’s cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles or the Kansas City Chiefs at the big game. Arielle joked, “Taylor Swift,” referencing the pop star, who is expected to attend the game to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce of the Chiefs.
In the upcoming episode of HI-Surf, fans will see Arielle and her crew tackle their wildest wave yet. The episode will feature a special guest appearance from Olivia Culpo. Arielle praised Culpo, saying, “She has a really fun role. She did a great job. It’s that special blend of each person bringing exactly what they need to the table.”
Kebbel also discussed the show’s aim to authentically portray the people of the North Shore in Oahu. She explained, “Our goal was to showcase the men and women of the North Shore as authentically as possible.”
The authenticity of the show often comes with challenges. Arielle shared, “We are in the ocean, we are in the currents, we are in the wind, we are in sandstorms… There is no CGI.”
