Diego Simeone responded with humor when asked if Atletico Madrid would adopt a defensive strategy, commonly known as “parking the bus,” against Barcelona in tomorrow’s Copa del Rey match.
“We won’t park the bus, we’ll travel by plane,” Simeone joked with a smile.
The Atletico Madrid coach also spoke highly of Barcelona and their manager, Hansi Flick. “Barcelona’s strength lies in their coach. He has the ability to instill his playing style in the team, and I believe Flick’s arrival has been very positive for them,” Simeone said.
