Kieran Culkin has secured his first Oscar win for Best Supporting Actor at the 97th Academy Awards. This achievement marks not only his first Oscar victory but also his inaugural nomination. Culkin received the award for his captivating performance as Benji Kaplan in Jesse Eisenberg’s film “A Real Pain.” In this role, Culkin portrayed a character struggling to conceal his emotional pain, delivering a performance that resonated deeply with audiences.
During his acceptance speech, Culkin shared a lighthearted story about a promise he made with his wife. He recalled that she had jokingly agreed to have a fourth child if he won an Oscar.
