CHEYENNE — During their final meeting before Christmas, members of the Wyoming School Facilities Commission (SFC) ended the session with jokes about a recent lawsuit concerning their decision to close eight schools in Cheyenne.
The lighthearted moment began when Commission Chairman Jack Tarter wrapped up Tuesday’s meeting. He said, “We may not have any more meetings before Christmas, and if we don’t, everybody have a Merry Christmas and enjoy being sued.” His comment sparked laughter from several SFC members, who added their own remarks.
