Kylie Kelce recently joked about her husband Jason’s overenthusiasm for trading friendship bracelets at Taylor Swift’s Eras tour, revealing that he stacked them up so high they cut off his circulation.
During the Dec. 19 episode of her podcast Not Gonna Lie, Kylie, 32, shared a funny moment with Thursday Night Football host Charissa Thompson, 42, discussing Jason’s excitement over the beaded bracelets that fans traded at the concerts.
“Jason went a little overboard,” Charissa said. “He was cutting off his circulation.”
Kylie added, “His hands were purple.” She went on to describe how, by the end of the night, Jason’s arms looked as if they had been wrapped in string for hours. “It was so funny,” Kylie said. “The beads were about to fly off and hit the moon.”
The Kelces have three children — Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 22 months — and Kylie is expecting their fourth child, a daughter. She noted that the bracelets are typically worn by young women attending the concert. “Here you have my large husband trying to stack them up to his f—king bicep,” she said with a laugh. “I’m like, ‘Can you not?’ ”
Kylie and Charissa also discussed their shared appreciation for the Eras Tour, which wrapped on Dec. 8 after 152 shows. Charissa shared a touching story about how her love for Taylor Swift started years ago, when her niece was diagnosed with a brain tumor at age 6. “All she wanted to do was go to a Taylor Swift concert,” Charissa recalled. “She gets out of the hospital, half her head shaved, bandages everywhere, and sings every word to Taylor’s songs. My sister and I were just crying. But from that moment, I knew I loved Taylor.”
Charissa went on to explain the magic of the Eras Tour. “There’s no place like that — pure joy with 100,000 people all experiencing the same thing,” she said.
Kylie added, “The concept of trading bracelets is so simple, but it creates such a strong bond for everyone there.”
“It’s perfect,” Charissa agreed.
