Demi Moore didn’t hold back during her surprise appearance at Comedy Central’s The Roast of Bruce Willis, delivering a series of sharp jabs at her ex-husband and his Hollywood career.
Moore, who was married to Willis for almost 12 years, humorously addressed everything from their marriage to his iconic role in Pulp Fiction. “I’m Demi Moore. I was married to Bruce Willis for the first three Die Hard movies, which makes sense because the last two sucked,” she quipped, drawing laughter from the crowd.
Moore’s humor didn’t stop there. She turned her attention to Willis’ role in Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 film Pulp Fiction. She joked about the unlikely casting of the action star, known for playing John McClane in Die Hard, in the indie film.
“Bruce went over to Harvey Weinstein’s hotel, and I don’t know. He came back swinging that ball gag and then he said, ‘I got the part!’” Moore said, referencing the disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. The edgy comment had the audience in stitches.
Moore also took aim at some of Willis’ career choices, adding, “Don’t be so hard on yourself about our divorce, Bruce. You’ve had much bigger failures—Planet Hollywood, Hudson Hawk, Striking Distance, campaigning for Michael Dukakis…”
She even made a joke about their family, saying, “We share three beautiful daughters—four if you count Bruce.”
Despite her sharp remarks, Moore ended on a more heartfelt note, calling their time together “some of the best times of my life.”
The roast concluded with both Willis and the audience laughing, showcasing Moore’s fearless mix of humor and dark sarcasm.
