Bill Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson grabbed attention at Thursday’s NFL Honors ceremony.
The 72-year-old coach and his 24-year-old girlfriend have been linked since 2023. The couple attended the event, where they caught the eye of Snoop Dogg.
During his monologue, the rapper shared memories of his long-time football fandom. He humorously recalled, “I remember when the Cowboys were good, when the Chiefs were bad, and, what was it — Bill Belichick’s girlfriend wasn’t even born yet?” The camera quickly focused on Hudson, who appeared surprised, while Belichick smiled and chuckled.
The couple turned heads on the red carpet. Belichick sported a red blazer and several Super Bowl rings, while Hudson wore a silver dress and a large ring. Speculation arose that Hudson was wearing one of Belichick’s rings, but she later clarified that it was a national championship ring from her time as a cheerleader at Bridgewater State University. She also explained that her silver gown was inspired by the Vince Lombardi Trophy. “My antics often go over everyone’s head. I chose this gown because it reminds me of a Lombardi Trophy,” Hudson said.
This wasn’t the first time Belichick’s relationship has been the subject of jokes. Last year, during Netflix’s “The Roast of Tom Brady,” both Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady took playful shots at their former coach’s personal life.
“You used to talk about Foxborough High School when we sucked,” Gronkowski joked. “Now I know why you were so obsessed with it. You were scouting your new girlfriend.” Brady followed up with his own joke about rings. “Everybody asks me which ring is my favorite,” Brady said. “I used to say ‘the next one.’ But now, my favorite ring is the camera that caught Coach Belichick sneaking out of that poor girl’s house a few months ago. Hey, you still got it. Respect, baby.”
The Super Bowl between the Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will take place Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET on FOX, with coverage beginning at 1 p.m. ET. For the first time, the coverage will also be streamed live on Tubi.
