There has been a lot of speculation about Carlo Ancelotti’s future with Real Madrid next season. However, the Italian coach isn’t taking the rumors too seriously and instead, he’s handling them with humor.
Ahead of Real Madrid’s match against Arsenal, Ancelotti joked during a pre-match press conference that perhaps the club is growing tired of him. However, he emphasized that the most important thing is that the club’s president, Florentino Perez, isn’t tired of him.
“I don’t know, maybe they’re tired of me… But the main thing is that the most important person (Florentino) isn’t tired. What can change the dynamics is that the most important person in this club isn’t tired,” Ancelotti said.
In a reminder from the press conference, Mikel Arteta, Arsenal’s manager, expressed confidence in his team’s ability to beat Real Madrid. Ancelotti could face a challenging return leg, as up to seven of his players may be sidelined due to yellow card suspensions.
